Anthony Blankenship, age 81 of Hurley, Virginia passed away on Wednesday,
June 27, 2018 at the Pikeville Medical Center in Pikeville, Kentucky.
Born January 11, 1937 at Argo, Kentucky, he was the son of the late
Walter Blankenship and Hester Prater. He was a retired coal miner and
produced honey bees.

Funeral services for Anthony Blankenship will be held Saturday,
June 30, 2018, 11:00 A.M. at the Mill Fork Freewill Baptist Church at
Phelps, Kentucky with Mike Casey, Willie Coleman, and Cecil Hurley
officiating. Burial will follow at the Blankenship Cemetery on
Swans Fork Road, Hurley, Virginia.
The family will receive friends Friday evening 6:00 P.M. at the church.
A service will be held at 7:00 P.M.
Serving as Pallbearers will be Family and Friends.
Virginia Funeral Home of Grundy, Virginia is in charge of the arrangements.
