Obituary for Beulah Davis

Beulah B. Davis, age 93 of Hurley, Virginia passed away on Saturday, July 21, 2018, at the Buchanan General Hospital in Grundy, Virginia.

Born August 14, 1924, at Berwind, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Leroy Bandy and Mary Belle Whitt Bandy. She was a retired school teacher, having taught for over 39 years. She was a member of the Hurley Presbyterian Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold Davis; five brothers, Herman, Lawrence, Lewis, Ural, and Urais Bandy; and two sisters, Hannah Carter and Elva Adkins.

Helen Brown of Tennessee
Connie Osborne of Cedar Bluff, Virginia

Funeral services for Beulah B. Davis will be held Monday, July 23, 2018, 12:00 Noon at the Virginia Funeral Home Chapel at Grundy, Virginia with Kyle Brown officiating, with entombment to follow at the Greenhills Memory Gardens at Claypool Hill, Virginia.

The family will receive friends Sunday evening 6:00 P.M. at the Virginia Funeral Home, where a service will be held at 7:00 P.M.

Serving as Pallbearers will be Family and Friends.
Serving as honorary Pallbearers will be Dr. J.G. Patel and the third floor staff of Buchanan General Hospital.

A special thanks to caregiver Ella Mae King.
